New Features and Improvements

Primary new features and improvements in DEVONnote include but are not limited to:

Use the improved search with advanced Boolean search operators and an unlimited complexity of search terms. Save even the most complex searches as seamlessly integrated smart groups.

Save new notes to the inbox and file them properly later. The new trash can keeps documents up until you empty it. Unlimited undo and redo as well as immediate updating of the database files make using DEVONnote more comfortable and safe.

Smart tags combine groups with tags in an innovative way. The three panes view inherited from DEVONthink simplifies working with your notes. Edit your files in separate tabs, document windows or in full screen mode.

Upgrade Options

If you already own DEVONnote 1.x, no worries. You'll never have to purchase the application again that you already own for the full price.

If you purchased DEVONnote on or after July 1, 2008 you are eligible for a free 2.0 upgrade. Licenses purchased as part of a promotion bundle are not eligible for a free upgrade. If you have purchased DEVONnote before July 1, 2008, if you have purchased it as part of a promotion bundle and you want to upgrade to version 2.0, or if you want to cross-grade to DEVONthink we offer attractive upgrade prices. Should you have not received your upgrade message, e.g. because you have recently changed your email address, or you cannot find it any more, simply request your upgrade on our Upgrade Assistant.

Note: Starting with version 2.0 DEVONnote requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or higher. Databases of versions 1.x are not compatible but will be converted automatically to the new database format.
