• NEW: 'Welcome Assistant', appears when the application starts up.
• NEW: Templates (both smart and user-defined) are also supported. Templates Accounts & Passwords, Note, Phone Note, Task List and Quote (from clipboard) added.

• NEW: New preference option Web > Only automatic JavaScript windows (on by default). Disabling this option blocks all pop-ups except HTML links opened in a blank window.

• NEW: Setting Exclude Groups from Tagging (off by default) added to Database Properties panel to exclude all groups outside of the Tags group from tagging.
• NEW: Smart group predicate 'Instance is (not) tagged'; smart groups can search for other smart groups.
• NEW: Navigation bar of Split, Three Pane, Tag views provides the possibility to lock/unlock also groups.

• Improved: Website export uses now all templates available in the folder "Websites" (in the application's Application Support folder). Improved default templates plus new template "Header+URL+Comment" are copied to this folder automatically; new website export placeholders '%databasePlusLocation%', '%comment%', '%url%' and '%tags%'.
• Improved: Multiple selected items having already the same tags can be tagged via the Info panel and the Tag bar; Tab key can be used to enter the next tag.
• Improved: Dragging items on tags in Tags view tags them (adds replicants only if necessary); dragging items on ordinary tags in all other views tags items, too; deleting them from the tags list in the Tags view moves ordinary tags to the Trash and excludes group tags from tagging.
• Improved: Upper left pane of Tags view displays all untagged items if no tag/group is selected in the right pane.
• Improved: Tag bar and Info panel colorize tags/groups like the Tags view (ordinary tags are blue, groups are gray). Tags contain a pop-up menu that allows to reveal already existing groups/tags and to list and to add related tags.
• Improved: Classifying does not remove tags located in the Tags group anymore. In addition, ordinary tags (located in the Tags group) are not used by classification anymore.
• Improved: Primary location of an item is now one outside the Tags group (if possible).
• Improved: Tag bar moved to bottom of main/document/search windows.
• Improved: Entering tags using the keyboard and the contextual menu.
• Improved: Renamed Checked to Flagged throughout the whole user interface.
• Improved: Menus of Actions toolbar items work without having to release the mouse button first.
• Improved: Edit > Spelling has been replaced with Edit > Spelling and Grammar and sub-menus Edit > Substitutions and Edit > Transformations have been added. Note: Data Detectors, Text Replacement, Smart Dashes, Correct Spelling Automatically and Show Substitutions are limited to Mac OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard'. Edit > Substitutions > Data Detectors can be used to re-enable automatic data detectors for PDF views.
• Improved: The Command modifier key while clicking on the URL above document views opens the URL in a new tab if possible.
